Pre Wedding Photography – Emma and Steve – Post Bridge

I’ve not had so much fun on a shoot for a long time. Spending an hour with Emma and Steve was a total blast, and I loved that they had brought their Disco to be a part of the shoot as it is going to play a role in the wedding, and for their honeymoon they are travelling around Europe in it.

Langdon Court Wedding – Sam and Mark

Sam and Mark had a beautiful wedding at Wembury Church with the reception at Langdon court. I would love to say the weather was on their side but unfortunately it was pretty wet most of the day. Even so, this was an amazing wedding, everyone had a great time and the venues as ever were brilliant. I think I can safely say they had one of my favorite cakes ever, made by Ezzie Cakes, really classy and a little different to the norm. Big thanks to Sam, Mark and their families for making me feel so welcome.

Langdon Court Wedding – Nikki and Wayne

It seems like Langdon has been the place to get married recently with the amount of times I’ve been there in the past few months. One of the great weddings I was fortunate to photograph there was that of Nikki and Wayne. This was actually my final wedding of 2012 and what a wedding to finish with, such a great couple and everyone was really up for a big celebration so a lot of fun had by all.

Tom and Emma are a great young couple who are getting married in 2014 but wanted some photos to celebrate their engagement so we had a fun time at Shaugh Prior capturing these photos.

Borringdon Hall Wedding – Verity and Dave – Plymouth Wedding Photographer

Nearly the end of 2012 so here is the last weddig I will get to post before we enter 2013. I’m pleased to say it is a lovely one! Verity and Dave were married at Wembury Church then went on to Borringdon Hall for the reception. We even managed to get a shot with a rainbow which was cool, just a shame we were inside and didn’t spot it earlier as it was just going when we made it outside. Even still, a cool shot to have on a wedding day. I hope you all enjoy looking at these photos as much as enjoyed being at this wedding and taking them.

Devon Wedding Photography – Katherine and Aidan @ Noss Mayo

Another wedding that didn’t disappoint with a wonderful couple, great location and sunny weather….. OK, it was a little cold but what do we expect at the end of October. I was impressed with how brave Katherine was to go out in the cold to get some lovely photos, I was even more impressed with the bravery of arriving at the reception in an canoe!!!! The other really memorable part of this wedding, which added to the canoe, made this wedding one to remember for a long time was the vast amount of confetti, I could hardly see the couple at some points and even I got totally covered. Amazing….. what a great day!!

Plymouth Hoe Wedding – Astor Hotel – Natasha and Scott

Well, to say I’m behind on posting weddings to my blog is an understatement so I thought I better play catch up

September has to be the new summer, all my weddings in September had brilliant weather (and October for that matter). I’ve not photographed at the Astor Hotel before, but it is a great venue with an amazing location about 30 seconds from Plymouth Hoe. Natasha and Scott were a fantastic couple to photograph and having a great location with weather to match I don’t think we could have asked for much more. I love it when I get to use my portable lighting as it really gives a different look to the photos that you can’t get any other way. Not only that, but we also had a lovely sunset so I was a happy photographer I hope you enjoy look at this small selection of photos and keep your eye out for the next wedding soon.

Another stunning wedding, this time at the diverse St Mellion resort. I love golf courses with a lake and to top that off we had a lovely evening for some sunset shots. Debs and Chris were great to work with making my day a huge amount of fun. Here is a small sample from the day….. enjoy!

Plymouth Wedding Photography – Kitley House Hotel – Rebecca and Bill

Wow, what a wedding!! Amazing couple, beautiful location and glorious weather. It couldn’t have had more fun and I get the impression that everyone there felt the same, this was a fantastic day and one that I am thrilled to have been a part of.

Bill and Rebecca live in London but Rebecca is from this way originally and I’m really glad she was so that I got to met them and take some beautiful photos. Anyone who is getting married at Kitley House Hotel is going to have a wonderful time, weddings there are always well done and the grounds are a dream for a wedding photographer.
